This month on Deadly Sounds we’re grabbing the popcorn and the choc tops and settling in for some deadly movies, as the Message Sticks Film Festival kicks off in Sydney. We check out just a few of the festival’s highlights, and also bring you Wilma Reading – international singing star!

July 21 - Rival MC
This week on Deadly Sounds Rhoda meets Fred Leon, aka Rival MC of hip hop duo Impossible Odds. Fred chats about his recently released EP, Impossible Odds, which has made the Australian hip-hop scene sit up and take notice. Fred also shares how winning the JB Seed grant has helped him further explore his creative outlet and achieve his long-sought goals.
